Who are we? Nancy Burns L.Ac and Cherryll Sevy are guides who have been down different paths to arrive at midlife. We have survived, and are now thriving at this time of our lives. We encourage women to rediscover themselves in midlife after years of service to others. In a fun, conversational and engaging style they guide women to live a rich, full second half of life. Hourglass Workshops Presents…Book Conversations 2014
Our 2014 Winter Series is based on the book The Hidden Lamp by Florence Capwell–a collection of stories of Buddhist women from the time of the Buddha to the present day. Each story is accompanied by reflections of a contemporary woman and her personal responses to bring these old stories alive for readers today. Each offers a question to spark further reflection and inquiry and a personal meditation. These are treasured stories of women ancestors who forged their own paths to understanding and enlightenment.
You will recognize yourself in the experiences of these timeless stories, as well as discovering answers to questions you’ve never before thought to ask. You’ll feel more connected, inspired and nourished as only a good conversation with women friends can offer.
Nancy Burns and Cherryll Sevy, co-creators of Hourglass Workshops, invite you to attend a series of 4 Sunday conversations. Join other like-minded women to share ideas, insights and reflections of these stories and how we can add to the wisdom of women through the ages.
Dates: First Sunday of the Month, March 2nd, April 6th, May 4th, and June 1st
