The Fog has Finally Lifted

Have you ever had one of those years….? You know what I mean. Not a terrible year, but emotionally exhausting and just tough. That was last year for me. After I got through several challenging life experiences (mine and those of loved ones), I found myself in “a funk”. I have learned that when I go through difficult times, it isn’t until afterwards when I take the emotional hit. During the past several months, I felt like hiding under the covers, had little energy, totally unmotivated to do anything other than the minimum stuff we all have to do. I was slogging through life. But deep down, I knew eventually the fog would lift and the sun would shine again.

About three weeks ago, I woke up and my fog had magically lifted—I knew something has shifted for me. I felt lighter, clear headed, inspired by life again and my energy was way up! Finally! Today, I’m excited about each life again, trying new experiences (and recipes), dreaming new dreams, and meeting new people.

In my next blog, I’ll share a few things I did while I was in my fog which might be helpful for you. Meanwhile, I’m enjoying the sunshine of my life.
